Brooms and Brews - The Magical Power of Herbs 

Date:  Monday, October 28th (Two sessions, morning & evening)

       Morning Session - Mommy & Me     10:00 - 11:30 am

       Age:   Morning Session is Ideally suited for caregiver with child/children (age 2.5 - 7)  

       Cost: $15 per adult / $5 per child

       Evening Session        6:00 - 7:30 pm

       Evening Session is geared toward Adults and children 7+

       Cost: $15 per person

Focus:  Just in time for Halloween....  Learn about the magical powers of herbs!  We are pleased to present another day of artful fun and learning at the farm using nature to inspire and create.  All instruction and supplies are included in the workshop fee.

Activities include: Learn how to grow, harvest, and preserve herbs. Tour the gardens and go on an herb scavenger hunt. We will create witches brooms using fresh herbs. You can take it home and use it as holiday decor, cook with it, dry it, or plant it! We will also be using fresh herbs to make a unique "witches brew" herbal tea.

During the morning Mommy & Me session, caregiver and child will work together to create witches brooms and brews (there is a beaded version of the witches broom available for kids), and a Halloween themed sensory table and books will also be available for littles to play.
