Let's take a walk on the wild side! Art Kiddos will be going on hikes to observe all of the wild critters, bringing back sketches and ideas to create their individual, colorfully illustrated book! We will compile drawings using oil pastels, colored pencils, chalk pastels, markers and watercolor pencils with the help of photo references and professional instruction. This is a busy camp where we will be learning new techniques to accomplish wonderful artwork. If your child loves all sorts of animals and would like to improve their drawing skills this is an excellent way to enjoy a week of summer mornings at the farm! A Gallery Show of the students' art will be extended to families at the end of class on the final day. Taught by artist/instructor Pamela Palmer, B.F.A. owner of The Artist's Apprentice. Campers please wear clothes that are not precious, bring a water bottle and a snack if you wish.
Ages 7 & up (as always, exceptions for siblings are allowed.)
