About The Event

The Clarkston Monarch Butterfly Festival is back 

At your favorite non-profit farm for kids, The Clarkston Family Farm!  There is no charge for parking and most of the crafts, workshops, informational talks and farm animal interaction . A great way to enjoy learning about this special insect that has captured all of our hearts and could really use our help while having a ton of fun with your friends and family at the Clarkston Family Farm. Learn through hands-on activities how you can make a difference right in your own backyard in the success of the Monarch Butterfly.

General Information:

• Sunday, August 24th from 4 - 7 p.m.
• Where:  Clarkston Family Farm, 6800 Hubbard Rd, Clarkston MI 
• General parking available at Independence Elementary - 6850 Hubbard Road
• ADA parking is offered in front of the Sunflower Market
• Admission for this event is FREE (but advance registration is required).  Capacity is limited for this event, so register early!
• Additional (optional) tickets will be required for food/drinks/premium crafts/caterpillar kits/and other special experiences (see prices below).  Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at a discount below or full price at the event.

* (1 tix) Chicken treats / bunny bowls

* (2 tix) Piglet Pen time

* (1 tix) Butterfly House visit

* Local Artisans, food truck(s), Sunflower Market open

Relaxing, fun and informative day for the entire family!  You may pre-purchase tickets at a discounted price below.  Tickets can also be purchased @ $1 per ticket on-site the day of the event.  All proceeds from ticket sales benefit kids of all ages and abilities that participate in our Clarkston Family Farm programs and camps.  See video below from past events....

Although most activities at Monarch festival are included with registration, there are a few-things that require additional payment via tickets, such as refreshments, some of the more involved crafts, and monarch butterfly caterpillars. Tickets can be purchased at full price during the event, or pre-ordered here at a discount.  The pre-order cost is $20.00 for 25 tickets (a $5 discount).  Pre-ordered tickets can be picked up at the welcome table at Monarch Festival when you check-in.
