Sip and Snip Thursdays

Dahlia time is once again here at Clarkston Family Farm!  Bring your beverage of choice and/or a snack you wish to enjoy and head on over to Clarkston Family Farm any Thursday evening beginning August 6th through September 24th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Enjoy a beautiful evening at the farm creating with nature's palette of flowers and greens.  Listen to some relaxing music, watch our animals grazing....   and create a beautiful bouquet to take home!!  Bring your friends or family, but do register, you won't want to miss a chance for this lovely summer (early autumn) evening at the farm!

We will meet at the outdoor pavilion and will provide all supplies needed.  Each take home bouquet includes :  2 large flowers (thrillers), varied medium size flowers (spillers), extras to include like greens (fillers), ribbon and a container vase to create your arrangement.  We will have gloves and clippers as well to harvest things to include in your vase so all you need to bring is YOURSELF and your creative spirit!  

Each session has limited availability, so sign up early if you're excited to join us. 

General Information:

  • Thursday evenings, from 6:30pm-8:00 p.m. beginning August 6th through September 24th, 2026.
  • Where: Clarkston Family Farm, 6800 Hubbard Road, Clarkston, MI 48348
  • General parking available by the Sunflower Market or at Independence Elementary 6850 Hubbard Road, Clarkston, MI 48348 (follow the new paved path from the school to the farm).
  • Registration is required for Sip & Snip participation.
  • This is a Rain or Shine event.  In the event of extreme/unsafe weather (i.e. thunderstorms, lightning, high winds) - we will contact the Primary Contact person should cancellation of the event be necessary.  The Primary Contact person will be responsible for dissemination of the cancellation information to any attendees they registered.
  • In the event of cancellation due to extreme/unsafe weather, you may choose from the remaining Thursday evening Sip & Snip dates (even if sold out) to reschedule.  Should none of these dates work for you, you may request a full refund, or choose to donate your registration fee to our non-profit farm :) 
  • No refunds will be made for weather that is not classified as extreme/unsafe or after 5 days prior to the event.

Private Parties:

You can schedule a private Sip & Snip party for a minimum of 10 people.  Reach out to our Sip & Snip Coordinator Diann Glaza-Helbling for more information/details and to schedule.


Diann is a long time lover of gardening fostered by her dad who had a huge garden filled with apple trees for pies, grapes for wine and lots of veggies for canning.  She has been helping coordinate our Sip & Snip evenings for a number of years and is thrilled to be part of the CFF team (and we're thrilled to have her).  You can catch her weeding as a midnight garden fairy or helping with sip and snips!

Please Note:  

All online registration fees are being passed onto event participants to help reduce costs for our nonprofit educational farm.

Also, If you are saving your ticket to Apple Wallet, and the date doesn't match what you registered for, please refer to the date on your registration receipt email.   We are having an issue with Apple Wallet in this regard and think the problem is fixed, but as some of you may have already saved...   best to check your email confirmation.  You do not need the ticket from Apple Wallet - the email confirmation note is sufficient (as is your name :)  If there is any question about your registration date, please contact our Sip & Snip Coordinator;  Diann @ 248-860-5720 or [email protected]   Thank you and sorry for any confusion.
